Pat,

Hey, many thanks. That's a great list. It appears to be by far the most extensive listing I've ever seen. I notice Outback Steakhouse is not listed, but they probably just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Would you mind adding that link to the Information on Diet forum?

Thanks,

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

If I'm not mistaken Outback has changed it's menu and I haven't heard good reports.
Another one to ad to the GF list is Macaroni Grill.

Dee,

It must be an individual location thing. I ate at Macaroni Grill a couple of months ago and told the waiter that I needed gluten free and they looked at me like they had no idea what I was talking about. I had to educate them. It really wasn't a favorable experience. As a matter of fact, LOL, it was the day I did the camera pill and I had the receiver wrapped around me. My daughter was with me and she said I looked like a suicide bomber. I'm sure the poor waiter thought I was really weird!!!

My daughter was home from college this weekend and she said she has several friends who have to eat GF and she is noticing more and more restaurants having GF menus. I asked her to make a list for when I visit.

hahahahhahahaaaa! Pat!!
The waiter probably thought the least amount of time that he had to spend at that lady's table was fine with him!!!!!!
I'll keep checking for restaurants that are now offering GF menus.
I had a great experience at Chili's on Friday evening.

Love

The last time I ate at Outback, I got a gf menu and was surprised that it listed things to avoid that were part of each meal. Even the au jus for steak dishes, which makes one wonder how well it's being cooked.

The last time I ate a PF Changs, I even got concerned because I had eaten there when I first started my new job (there is one down the road from our Albany office to which I go for a day or two once a month or so), and I got the Chang's chicken. I was so excited when I got back to the hotel to find it breaded (I ordered off the gluten free menu). Well, I got very bloated that night, and thought it was the shear quantity of food I ate. But I tried again last month and when I got to the hotel with it, found it to be unbreaded! Makes one raise one's eyebrows.

This is my new favorite place to stop. I drive right by going to Albany and back.

her fritters are to die for. I've had her pizza too. Yummy. It's hard to pick and choose when I go in there.
