Has anyone tried the Cape Cod brand? Their russet chips are GF,SF,DF,CF and not bad at all, they don't seem to bother Rick, the only problem is their price...they are really proud of those things, but we try to support other small businesses whenever possible....

Carrie,

Are those the ones with the lighthouse on the bag? I did try some and liked them. Also, don't they use a different oil from the others - is it canola?

That's them, I'll have to look up what oil they use, I think it was saflower oil, but I could be mistaken.

We have taken to making our own sweet potato chips.....and Rick is starting to like them better than the store bought ones...Win, Win....cheaper and no chance of scary things being added......

Yeah, I think I had the "Cape Cod brand" as well. From what I remember they were good. I think we got them at Sam's Club.

Tyhanks Polly, I almost bough those this weekend. It's been awhile since I tried them. Is nothing sacred? Now the lays aren't safe. Darn! Love Oma
