A question about Disability

Has anyone here ever filed for disability> What are the things I need to be aware of> Do I need a lawyer etc>>>>>Love Oma

I haven't filed for it, but two of my sisters have. One has Lupus and the other was injured on the job and suffered severe injuries. Both of them needed lawyers to get through all the hurdles. And they both were awarded full disability. I can warn you though, one sibling had a great lawyer and got her's within a year, the other took years to finally get it, so be sure and do your homework to find a good lawyer, they seem to make all the difference........good luck..
