Hey Becky!!
"What the heart gives away is never gone ... It is kept in the hearts of others."
Hi Dee!
That's a loaded question...how much time do you have???
Let me start by saying that you are very special lady! Your posts just make this ray of sunshine come straight through the computer screen and warm my heart. I'm sure many others here feel that too!
Kindergarten has been stressful. So many of my little ones have such a
hard life. I wish I could just take them and make them my own. It's not fair to see them exposed to such ugliness. Anyway, I take on their stress and make it my own.
With that said, I'm having symptoms again. I'm unclear if it's stress, glutten, dairy, being off Entocort, being off probiotics are a combination of two or more. I know I need to do Enterolab testing. I just need to let go of the funds to do so. (I have it but I'd been saving up to get a nice camera. I keep holding out hoping everything will just clear up) My doc put me on welcol as a post-gall bladder, too much bile in your system approach. I think it helps a little. I see him a week from Monday so we'll see what he says next.
How are you? We're expecting some rain and or snow the next couple of days. I'm ready for summer!!!!
~Thanks for thinking of me.

Becky,
I used to be the cafeteria manager and head cook at an Elementary school and at least 75% of those children came from low income and lives that you & I couldn't even imagine. I did have the opportunity to interact with these children when they'd come thru for their free breakfast (all 260 of them) and when they'd get their lunches. (all 370 of them)....
I fully understand when you say you'd like to make them your own.
I put quite a few of them under my wings while I was working.
I had this little fella named Willy. He had a sister & a brother, but he was the youngest of the 3. Well, Willy took a liking to me to the point that his teacher came to me and asked if I thought I would have time to help him with his spelling and sign his homework papers.. Mind you, I'm just the
"Lunch Lady".. So, every morning during the serving of breakfast , Willy would come running into the kitchen and I'd set him up on one of the stools where I did my paperwork and there we would proceed on to his homework.. I could go on & on with similiar events that took place while I was employed there.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having sypmtoms again.. Yes, stress could be one of the problems. Sure hope to hear that you get some relief soon.
I have to admit that my maintenance dose of Entocort and watching what I eat has really helped me.. Sure beats the past of running to the loo 15 times a day.. Hoping I never see those days again.
I bet you & I could really share alot of stories having worked in a district that had a lot of the neglected and poor environment children.
Love
