Well, folks...it might be happening!!! Yesterday I was asymptomatic!!! Norman showed up in the morning and then disappeared, none of his look-a-likes showed up either!! I finished the last of the vanco in the am. Last night I got my first full night's sleep with no need to wake up at midnite for a dose of vanco, no 3am feeding of probiotics, no 5:30 getting up to choke down more antibiotics and then wait to take the Colestid. sigh....I am daring to hope again. Slept in till 8 am...what a luxury to sleep!!!Busy day but will write more later. just wanted to thank all for your thought s and prayers!
I'm certainly happy to see that things are finally going your way.
Thanks for the update.
Tex
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Thanx Tex, Becky, & Dee....it sure does feel good to feel "normal"..had some blood tests done...10 in fact with results that I need some vit. D. She said it should help with the fatigue and muscle aches...she said it is common in Oregon to be low in vit D as it is so cloudy and rainy and we don't get out much and then being sick so long wouldn't help either. So picked up the Rx today and will start it right away.Sorry Dee to hear of your run-in with the cashew cheese...hope it clears up soonly!!
