Culturelle - probiotic

Post by Sally »

Hmmmmm. About three weeks ago I decided to see if I could do without Culturelle. I have been feeling kind of yukky the past few days so I started taking it again. It will be interesting to see if the "yukkiness" goes away.

I always take a double dose when I have to be on an antibiotic. So far, so good.

I will let you know what happens.

Love,

Sally

CULTURELLE

Post by barbaranoela »

MOI---I luv your picture-----U look terrific---

I often wondered about the Culturelle----like how do we know Xactly if it is doing what they say it does???

Silly Question, I know but I think of these things--
I even wondered--when U take all meds. ,with breakfast, how does each one know where to go too----

I asked that of Mr.Louie and he just  his eye-ballz!!!!

Oh well, we accept the word of our dr.'s and throw down the sorted pills---

Keep a smile

That picture is of me looking down at Brice who is in my lap. The whole picture is funny. He is laughing up at me.

I am still not sure about the Culturelle, but I guess I'll keep taking it. I took one this morning and I don't feel yukky anymore.

That's a good question. How do those pills know where to go?

Love,

Moi

Oma
Try going to-

http://www.culturelle.com/index.jsp

You will find a lot of information about it and if you click on Purchase, find a list of stores where you might find in locally. I have gotten it on line by ordering from the above site and also at a Walgreens in my area. I have found it to be very helpfull but other members have not been able to tolerate it.

Hope this helps

I have purchased Culturelle at my local drugstore - Walgreens chain.

There are many other probiotics available besides Culturelle. I don't know just how to monitor the effects of a probiotic but if one feels yukkie w/o it and good with it, isn't that enough?

I think everything we eat/drink has an effect on how we feel - we have not trained ourselves to actually feel the effects of each item or product we consume but we could probably learn to become better at listening to our bodies and learn from it. I find that starting the Gf diet was a little step in that direction for me - listening to the body and learning from it's wisdom.

I am glad you are feeling better, Sally.

Love,
Karen

I had to stop taking it since it was so expensive! I haven't really noticed any difference. I take it when I go on antibiotics. You will have to let us know how things go for you!

Well, I have been back on Culturelle for several days now and I feel all "normal" again. Whatever that is.....

I still don't know if the C actually did it or whether it's all in my mind.

The important thing is, I guess, that I feel better.

Love,
