Hi Barbara,
Nope, I missed the bit about Shirley Temple. I'll bet she looks better at 80 than I do at 65. HaHa She was always beautiful.
When I read Everglade City all I could think of was "heat". HaHa I imagine I'd have cleared out of there before now but a lot of people live here for the "heat" so I am kind of an oddball, I suppose. I'm not quite sure just where Everglade City is located but I assume it's a good bit south of Vero Beach/Fort Pierce area. I hope your friends have a good trip home.
Bill and I are doing OK. He went back to Pa around the last Sunday in March. He is enjoying Spring up there. They don't have any leaves yet but the daffodils have bloomed and the flowering trees have started. I have about another month and Mom and I will be starting our trip up there. Have to go to Pensacola around Memorial Day weekend to attend my son's retirement ceremony from the navy so Mom & I will leave about a week after I get back from Pensacola.
Love, Shirley
