Chat Tonight! :conversation:

Post by tex »

Hi All,

It's been a long time since we've had any group chats, but since there seems to be some interest, let's try to schedule one for tonight. Since we span so many time zones, it's kind of tough to pick a convenient time for everyone, but this is the time we used to start, so let's try this for today, and we'll see how it goes. This is a bit early for folks on the west coast, but these chats usually last for a couple of hours, anyway, so I'll stick around for a while, and hold the door open, for anyone who arrives later. We can always try other times in the future - I'm certainly open to suggestions.

Let's schedule the chat for 8 pm, Eastern time. If my math is correct, that should be 7 pm Central, and 5 pm Pacific, and it should be 1 am in the UK.

I'll try to get there early enough to prop the door open, and sweep out most of the dust that's been accumulating there, since the last time we used it. LOL.

See you there,
Tex

Hi Polly,

Hmmmmm. Be sure that you have Java activated in your browser.

If it is, you may need to download a new version of Java.

Love,

Sunny,

Type your message into the long narrow window bar at the bottom, and hit return.

Polly, if Java is not activated, you just have to activate it, (click the box), but if it was already activated when you tried to enter the chat room, and it didn't work for you, then you may have to download a new version of Java. Sorry, I didn't do a good job of explaining that the first time.

Sunny,

You're very welcome.

It was fun, wasn't it. It went so well that I think we'll try to schedule a chat every week, if possible.

Tex,

Thanks for the tips. Actually I didn't get back to the chat. Began watching "Dancing with the Stars".

Polly,

I wondered what had happened. When you didn't respond, I was afraid that you might have been having serious computer problems.

We missed you. I thought you might show up later - it lasted about two and a half hours, altogether.

Love,
Tex
