Good News....I think...
Called the GI doc's office re: the sample we took in this am....it was negative....so doc will call in the am (I hope) with the next step. I am very very very very much relieved that I have had 2 negative c-diff reports. So I am now thinking for sure that the Sx are from LC and expect her to have me go back on the entocort.
Grand daughter just called and she & her Mom & Papa are on the way over with a "surprise " to cheer me up! wonder what it is???? My DH is gone to Grants Pass on a trip I was supposed to also make.... but have to stay home cuz of my D problem...nervous about the 3 hour trip down and back. But he'll be back tomorrow nite....goodie!

Sunny,
That definitely is good news. I was wondering if your doc was going to make a second test. A second test for C. diff is always a good idea, since false negatives are not exactly rare. A few patients, (and their docs), end up on a "wild goose chase" prior to the initial diagnosis, looking for a non-existent problem, after the doc overlooks C. diff, because the first test was negative.
Thanks for the good news.
