I've been looking thru some of the old posts and came acrss Jean's post on the elimination diet and am going to do that...chicken, bananas, potatoes(have to limit those as it makes sugars jump)and tea.....for 2 weeks and then slowly add food back in....I may be reacting to all kinds of things even tho I have made a concerted effort to wean out gluten....so I may start growing feathers in a week or 2!!
BTW...is Jean still active on the board?

Hi Sunny,
Jean is another who is extremely sensitive to multiple intolerances. She might possibly be another member of the "Double DQ1" club, but I don't believe she ever had a gene test, (or any other Enterolab tests, for that matter). Jean made some great contributions to this board, but after she was able to reliably maintain remission, she changed jobs, and started taking up new hobbies that seem to occupy all of her free time these days. We miss her, but she rarely checks in, any more. I assume that she is still symptom free.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
