NO Pain--NO Gain--PT--interesting

Post by barbaranoela »

Well---Frank is one heck of a PT---I luve this guy

I was really feeling like a *whimp* but Frank gave me a nice Xplanation--

Barbara----one day U have relief? and then next its  and cussing
Yes, Frank----
Frank---first of all when U ARE STRESSED OUT and DEPRESSed--not relaxing over this off and on pain---U are CAUSING your BODY to TIGHTEN UP --thus causing MORE intense PAIN---
We are not blinking an EYE---it is not a 1-2-3- miracle course---
It takes time----and U have to TRY and RELAX and be PATIENT!!!!
When the pain increases---try to relax your body----lie down---do one of the Xercizers I instructed U to do!!!!!
DO MEDITATION----and U are NOT being a WHIMP!!!!

Said I---*Frank---thank U so much--U have *pin-pointed* *ME* cus thats the type of person I am-----

Frank---*we will give U relief---BUT it can always flare up/or not--

Then Mr. L popped in and  Frank said *that is your pain in the ass*

We all had a good laugh---

I am hurting BUT I am feeling better---

thanks for *listening*

Barbara,

Frank sounds like a great therapist, and it sounds you are right on track - it's just gonna take a while to get everything back to normal.

Hi Bubbs,

So sorry to hear about the sciatica pain - it sounds awful. I think I had this a long time ago and could only lay on the floor. Didn't get any treatment - it just went away after a while. Guess I was lucky.

Hope the PT helps!

Love,
Alice
