Online/Offline Indicator

Post by tex »

Hi All,

I added an Online/Offline indicator, which shows up in posts, Instant Messages, the Memberlist, Profiles, etc.

If you haven't already noticed it, when you're reading posts, it is at the bottom of the window, to the left of the Profile, PM, and E-mail "buttons". The "light bulb" turns green, if that particular member is online at the moment. If you click on that button, the system will take you to a page with a table that shows you where that member is, (which forum), at the moment, in case you want to track her/him down. LOL. It also shows you the locations of guests who are viewing the forum. Clicking on an "Offline" button does nothing, since that member is offline.

If you have any questions or problems with this feature, please don't hesitate to ask.

Love,
Tex

  That's because you selected the "Hidden" option in your profile, for your "Viewers Online" status. You're status should be invisible to most users, though admins and moderators can see it, and you can see it yourself, of course.

I just like to back up that post by Sunny and thank Tex for all his hard work in running the forum along with the research......I think we would all be lost without his efforts to help people
