interesting pattern
I have noticed that I make most of my bathroom trips in the morning.....first one is usually a norman....then comes the wannabes...one or two....then the oatmeal/diarrhea. Maybe again in the afternoon ...then nothing. When the c-diff was in full swing it was every 30 minutes...likewise with the LC....it just dawned on me as i looked at the diary...this has been the case for the past 2 weeks....hmmm.....poste dhtis pattern on the c-diff site also....many on that board say how different theri symptoms were....lots of pain & lots of trips....no pain, but nausea....limited D but achy joints so bad they can't get out of bed....so thsi seems to be an equal opportunity disease and not quite so easy to pin down any particular patterns of symptomology....hmmmm

I usually had 3 or 4 rounds in the morning, but by noon, I would have it made until, say, 5 or 6 in the afternoon, and then I'd usually have to make another trip about 8 or 9. Very rarely had to get up during the night, except to vomit, once in a while. My joints usually ached so bad that I felt like I had the world's worst flu, on steroids.

Hmmmm.....I posted this because this pattern is so different form the 20 times a day that i thought perhaps it wasn't c-diff or LC....who knows what ...IBS? some folks wrote of getting IBS after c-diff....sheecsh!!!
or might it be a sign of improvement? I am starting the chicken and banana and potato and tea regimen....will see if it helps.

Sorry, Sunny, but I'd say your pattern at this time fits quite well into LC symptoms (also the 20 times a day). Good try though. Glad the bathroom trips have lessened in both frequency and liquidity. LC can present with such a wide variety of symptoms that sometimes it seems like a person might be talking about a different disease.
I haven't had any experience with CDiff (knock wood) so I won't comment on that one.
It will be interesting to hear what the Infectious Disease Dr. has to say.
