Back on Entocort

O.k. here's a review - Diagnosed MC in August, tried pepto, worked at first. Went on Entocort through March with great results. Weaned off it, all the sympotms came back. Went on Welchol (because I had my gallbladder out, the thought being I had to my bile being allowed in my system) I seemed to be improving for a couple of weeks but alASS, my symptoms came back. I started Entocort (9mgs.) just yesterday and already feel incredible! I know I still need to have the Enterolab testing, I think I'm in denial of what the long-term ramification of the findings would be. For today, I'm an Entocort fan! Hope you all know how much I appreciate this forum. Someday, my schedule will work out to join in the chat.

Sorry to hear your symptoms came back but glad to hear the Entocort is working well so soon!

Hi Becky!
I was afraid for you that the Welchol would only work temporarily!
I remember being prescribed Questran and it started out working and forming the stool, then, bingo, my symptoms returned.
Happy to hear that the Entocort is working for you.

It really is amazing how quickly Entocort works in the system, hope you feel better soon.
