Baggy eye lids

Post by Lucy »

Hi all,

Do any of you have baggy eyelids? (I mean BEFORE surgical corrections!).

Eye doc told me that insurance will pay to fix em when HALF my vision is blocked by the lids hanging down. Now ain't THAT sumpin?!!

Seriously, I'm wondering how common this is among our group.

Yours, Luce

No baggy eyelids here but my boss, our CEO, had her's done earlier this year since they were blocking her vision and insurance paid. She is allergic to wheat though.

Hi Luce. Yup, I guess I'd have to say I have somewhat baggy eyelids. I've always had what they call "deep set" eyes. Now that I'm older the bagginess seems more pronounced although it's not blocking my vision.

I have blue eyes. As I recall, 88% of us at this forum have recessive eye color. Maybe we should start a new poll for eyelids!

Love,
Carrie

Baggy eyelids? You called my name, Luce.

All of my relatives have baggy eyelids so either they are secretly MC or it runs in the family. Or both. Interesting question.

Count me as baggy eyelids too. (I'm also in the 88 % for eye color)

I don't think that I have baggy eyelids. But I do have a xanthoma near one of my eyes. Small and mostly not noticable, except by me. LOL

baggy eye lids here

Post by barbaranoela »

ahhhhhhhh yes---the baggy eye-lid syndrom----
include me in that
I wanted to have them picked up but Mr. Louie says NO WAY!!!!

So every so often I just lift them up and stare @ my eyes--
According to Lou---everything *droops and sags* with age

To be serious, if it does cause issues with vision most insurance co. will pay ----I know mine does----

terribly stormy today---and another week is coming to a close--

still having problems getting my car into garage  and for the life of me I cant understand why Lou gets so :hissyfit: over this ---I find it rather
after all I am a good :driving:

*WHATEVER*

till later---
keep a smile
luv Barbara

Now you've gone and made me laugh!

I get my exercise lifting my eyelids high enough to see out! Ha!

Don't have deep set eyes, but do have wide set eyes -- not quite as wide as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis had, but close, I'd say.

Yours, Luce
