Just thought I'd mention that sugar-free powdered drink mixes had been my beverage of choice for several years. Each day, I'd wash the plastic cups in the dishwasher, but a white residue always remained.
Since I stopped drinking the mixes, I've noticed that the residue still was on the cups, even after months of washing and not using the drink mixes. I just tried to get it off. I scrubbed it with a plastic brush, but it didn't budge. It was like paint. I finally added Soft Scrub, scrubbed with the brush and it finally came off.
I can't help but wonder if that same residue coated the sides of my gut and helped to irritate it.

I used to drink those kind of powdered drinks, but after seeing the residue myself I quickly ditched them. It makes you wonder if they didn't effect us, but then so did alot of other foods I have given up.
