Great Afternoon & Evening~~~~~

Post by Dee »

Nicole & Ben arrived about 2 and then my son and grandchildren came over. So great to have both of my children and the grandchildren here at one time. We don't have that opportunity often with Nicole living in IowJu JUST A SUPER DAY!!
Jack was the birthday boy of the day and received a whole new summer wardrobe.. He's definitely set now!!!
Good Food & I made his birthday cake which was a huge success!!
I was crawling in the pop up tent with the grandchildren, playing wiffle ball, pushing them around on big wheels...
Then we adults picked teams and played hillbilly golf..
What a blessed day!!!!!
So, now Mom & Grandma is tired !!

Love

It has different names, but camping is where we first got hooked on it and everyone called it hillbilly golf.
Jack made ours out of inch and half pcv pipe and I guess that the best way to describe it is it would look like a 3 rung ladder but the rungs are farther apart than a ladder. There is 2 of them and you place them about 25-28 feet apart. Then you take 3 different sized ropes and on each end you have a colored golf ball. The top rung is 30 points. The middle rung is 20 points and the 3rd rung is 10 points. So we have a set of yellow golf balls and a set of orange ones.
2 teams. Jack and I were one team and Nicole & Ben were the other. You swing the rope with the golf ball and try to get it to loop around the rungs. playing to whichever team hits 100 points.
Hope my description is understandable..
