Surgery update

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone,
Surgery went very well. I don't know what my eye looks like but will know tomorrow morning when they remove the gauze patch. I will have some of the stitches removed next Friday and the rest of them removed the following Friday.

Didn't sleep well last night - was awake every hour so I am sleeping quite a bit today (when I can).

The nurses and doctor were outstanding! I was even sent home with a coffee mug of roses and daisy's! Isn't that the sweetest thing - flowers after surgery from the doctor performing the surgery! I thought it was a very nice gesture.

Thanks for thinking of me this week!

Love,
Mars

Glad to hear you are home and doing well!
That was nice of them to give you the 'parting gift'!

Hope you continue to feel better and get some much needed sleep.

Mars,

So glad to "hear" that everything went so well. Wow! I'm impressed that you got flowers from the surgeon. All I ever got from any doctor was a bill. LOL.

I hope the recovery goes as smoothly.

Love,
Tex

Bringing up the rear again but extremely happy things went well and looking forward to your next update. Also surprised about the flowers from the Doc!!!

Please take care of yourself. You are sorely missed when you can't be on for a while.........
