Barbara,

You didn't do anything wrong. When you change your e-mail address, the system sends a new activation e-mail that you must respond to, in order to re-activate your account. It does that for any member who changes their e-mail address, or anyone registering for new membership. The reason it does that is to ensure that the e-mail address you entered is valid.

This prevents "spammers" from registering with a fake e-mail address, just so they can read our e-mail addresses and sell them to "spam" lists. IOW, unless the e-mail address is valid, they cannot respond to it, and if they can't respond to it, they can't activate their account. If they cannot activate their account, then they can't see our e-mail addresses, birthdays, or any similar information in our profiles.

Luve,
Galahad

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
