Stitches.................

Post by Mars »

Well, the upper stitches came out today but the lower ones have to stay in another two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My body does not heal well after surgery or cuts so I guess I'm not suprised. Bummer though - I was hoping to be on the mend sooner.

And, I gotta tell ya - taking out the stitches HURT!!!

Love to all,
Mars

Hi Mars,

Hmmmm. That's a long time to have to leave the other stitches in, but the infection probably had something to do with that. I hope it's gone, now. The body probably doesn't heal well when it's fighting an infection.

Sorry about the pain - that's a pretty sensitive area to be removing stitches from, but I don't think I'd want a shot there, to kill the pain, either. Sometimes it's hard to win.

Oooh. I can't imagine getting stitches removed from your eyelids. I'm sorry that your other stitches need to stay in for two more weeks. I'm sure you want to get back to normal ASAP.

Maggie,
Sure hope the healing progresses as quickly as possible and you'll soon be rid of all stitches, soreness....... anything unpleasant.

Also, hoping the operation was a success......... any indication yet??

Ouch! What a tender place for stitches, let alone their removal!! Much thought and prayer coming your way, kiddo!
