New TREATMENT for KAIT

Post by barbaranoela »

since Kait is Xperiencing head pain again--Lynn got the name of this Dr. Joshua Greenspan-(in New Hampshire) who does this OCCIPITIAL NEUROMODULATION treatment--relases electric currents when her head is paining--

It is in the field of a pacemaker but for PAIN --
First they place the electrodes under skin in back of head---NO CUTTING??? So cant Xplain that--
They wait a month and then its removed and what they call stage 2 is the actual implant procedure---surgery~~~~
She will go home again--if pain is relieved (how long they wait I dont know) they remove the implant ---
Confusing to me---cus if it works why not leave the *charge* in??
Guess there is more that Lynn has not Xplained-

Anyway Lynn told Kait---* I will never give up until I find the one thing that will give U a better life*

Lynn has her dad's --dont give up drive----they are so alike--

Well thats it---

Sounds like something that might work. Sure hope it will work for Kait. It seems like they are doing a lot of research on pain management, so maybe.... :xfingers:

Hmmmmmmm. Maybe it will "reprogram" the nerves, and permanently stop the pain.

Morning Barbara,

Looked up a couple of articles and it sounds like a promising possibility but in many respects it is still in the experimental phases. Anything that can help at this point is more than welcome and may give her back some of her life.

Love, Maggie

I'm keeping Kait in my prayers for a relief from all this on-going pain. There HAS to be some relief for her soon!

Here's a hug for you and the rest of the family too.

Love ya,
