Yea! I found a rental house and it's on a lake! And...there is a view of Mount Si! It is perfect for me....what a relief. It is about a 25-30 min commute to my new job. I am a happy camper! and.....it's 20 mins from skiing, and near parks, hiking trails and a lake for swimming and recreation. My house is on a private lake, but I'm guessing it isn't good for swimming....but will be great for canoes and row boats. Can you tell I'm excited?

I just had a bad thought....I hope my cell phone works up in the hills....I also just bought that mobile modem....hmmmm....I better take my laptop and cell phone up there to check.

You did count being close to the outlet stores! My cell doesn't work on top of the pass but I've had it work around North Bend. Congratulations! You'll have a great summer, if it ever arrives. I'm freezing! School's out for me, how about you?
Hi...hahahah...I forgot about the Outlet Stores! I'm really excited about being on the lake AND in the mountains to boot. Must be my Norwegian heritage. My grandfather used to climb in the mountains in Norway all day, and then ski down to the fjord. He was thrilled when I learned to ski...he would have loved my new place.
For those non-Washingtonians, I am living in the town where the outside shots for the TV show Twin Peaks were shot. The restaurant with the d#$@ good cup of coffee and cherry pie is still there! And....I will have a view of one of the twin peaks.
Whahoo....I will have a guest room for anyone of my Potty Friends who cares to visit! The guest room will even have it's own potty!
