Feel like I've been driving for a solid week. Haha

Sure looks good up here but, can you believe............. Record heat today!!! Hope it cools off soon.

Mom tolerated the trip pretty well.

I am exhausted and will catch up on the posts another day............

Hi Shirley,

I'm glad the trip went smoothly.

Thanks for the update.

Love,

Hi Shirley,
I wish we could take 20 degrees of your heat. I don't think it's gotten over 60 in days. My daughter wanted to wear her winter coat to school today - UGH! By the way, my dad's side of the family is from Monaca. Where are you from?

Okay, I'm going to visit Becky! 60 degrees sounds AWESOME right about now. We are in a heat wave and I hate the heat, plus I have a cold so that doesn't help. I think it's supposed to break tonight though. At least drop us to the 80s. Us Vermonters don't do heat well

Welcome Home Shirley & Mom!

Where exactly in PA - I forgot?

The heat here is horrible and no one wants it regardless how cold it is where they are. Yesterday was 102 when I left work - early at 3:30 PM and today is to be 98. A/C - which I dislike - is the only way to survive.

Love, Maggie

Hi Shirley!

It is "Junuary" in the NW. The news said this has been the coldest first week in June since 1894. There is snow in our mountain passes and it has been darn cold in the lowlands too. Brrrrr..Stay cool!

I wasn't ignoring your questions but this is the first chance I've had on the computer since I posted. I don't have time to catch up on the posts now either.

We are in Bradford County near Nichols, N.Y. We are about halfway between Binghamton, N.Y. and Elmira, N.Y. We are right on the border of Pa and N.Y.

Closest Pa. towns are Athens, Sayre, Rome (and farther away is Towanda. which is the county seat).

We had one fairly cool day (forget which one) and today it has been raining so it cooled off some but still quite humid. Tuesday is supposed to be cool again.

I guess it's either feast or famine as far as "coolness", "heat" and rain also. Wish some of that water in the midwest could have gone to florida.

I miss being on the board but looks like it's going to be hit and miss for while. Extremely busy.

Love, Shirley

Nice to "hear" your voice again! We've missed you...but we understand...it'll be great when you CAN check in once in a while!!
