Tex sets up a GF, DF and whatever other F there is ranch. Of course we all sign and abide by his rules because he knows it all and we should! We all go there to live. Dee does the cooking, Barbara provides the Comic Relief, Oma the awesome support and Polly the md perspective. I know all of the rest of you have gifts to bring to the GF, DF and other F table.

Great Idea. Can we have hubby's - good GF ones - come too? I will provide the birding walks, the decorating, party planning, and also act as nature guide. Surely will help Dee with the cooking since that is the 2nd passion in my life.

Love, Maggie

Count me in. I'll divvy up the portions. But will Tex feed us corn from his farm? He'd better have a lot of outhouses.

  I'm trying to decide whether to take the stage, or just :creep: outta here.

Actually, the drought is so bad this year that I'm not sure if we'll have any corn. We might have to live on jack rabbits and armadillos, with an occasional 'possum thrown in, until we run out of them, too.

Still, if Dee is willing to do the cooking, jack rabbits and armadillos would probably be pretty good pickins.

I'm not sure if I can round up enough outhouses, though. They're gettin' to be kind of scarce in these parts. I wonder how many it would take. Maybe I can find some on eBay.

Hey!!!!
I'm all for the idea and would love cooking for all of you!!
I love cooking for a large amount of people.
And since I also have catering under my belt, it would be no problem.
Now, the only requirement would be that you all would agree to eat healthy!!! But, we'd cheat every now & then... I promise!
And having someone offer to do the clean up and dishes???? Horray!!!
Jack is a Jack of all trades so I know he'd be a big help!!!!
Just let us know when to start packing!!!!!

Hey, I can help with the cleaning, painting........ actually I have many unexpected talents

I'm all for eating Dee's cooking (and anybody else's too!!) HaHa Cooking is not one of my best talents. but I can be useful.

Tex, I see you left out the "Possum" in the second "wild game" list. Was that on purpose. HaHa I have a hard time thinking that even Dee could make one of those palatable. The Jackrabbits for sure and probably the Armadillo, although I've never tasted one of those.

The whole thing sounds wonderful........... Thanks Becky!!

Shirley,

  You guessed right. I wasn't sure either, whether Dee would even be interested in trying to fabricate a culinary delight out of that atavistic marsupial. Hahahahaha.
