Here's Why You Should Eat A Big Breakfast

Post by tex »

Hi All,

This research article not only reinforces my belief that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but it brings up an entirely new approach to dieting that makes a lot of sense:

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hmmmmmm, getting hungry just thinking about it. HaHa
A big breakfast is my favorite meal, but I don't usually eat much for breakfast.

That works for me! Today I had 2 pancakes (Pamela's), with some real maple syrup, and a large decaf coffee I had gotten on the way home from the barn. I ate about 10am....

Now it's 5pm and I'm finally hungry. Tomorrow it's grits and eggs...

Hmmmmm!
I think I fit into the category of eating a good size breakfast and could actually skip lunch....
I don't eat breakfast until between 9-10am.

Hmm...maybe I should try adding something like a gf waffle to my morning routine. I'm not a big breakfast eater (never have been) except for on Sunday morning when Geoff and I go out...sort of like date night

But I still have to fight the sugar craving I get when I get stressed! And the snacking that goes along with that.
