Prednisone and no power

Post by annie oakley »

I pribably spelled that wrong, but Doctor said my allergies went nuts and I don'[t have a sinus infection. I have fluid in both ears. The right one worse than the other one. But thankfully it is a short time course of it. She is aware of the MC and is trying to be causious.
Training is going good. We are a week ahead of schedule. We had an all day potluck and munched and played games all day. It was a blast.
And you will never guess who went to this training with us!!!!! Miss Jelous employee. She tried her Bull---- the second day and Our Supervisor likes me and saw thru her. He had 5 people in two days request their seating not be next to her. He already has her figured out. We shall see. He is amazed how many people don't like her.
But on a good note We all like what we will be able to do to help people in theis dept.
We had terrile storm last night. It felt like the trailer was an airplane on a bumpy take off. Horrible winds. Woke us up at 2am no A/C and very warm. Blew stuff all over the yard. We got a little over an inch of rain.
When we went to town to go to work we still had no power. A trucker flagged us down and said there was a down power line hanging about winshield hieght. I asked him if he clled 911, no he had not so we called 911. Headed on to work. All the farms out our way were out of power and 1/2 of Winters and 1/2 of Ballinger. But our co-op is quick to fix things.
We I am tired since being up from 2am with no nap SOOOOO adios folks talk to you all tomorrow. Love Oma

Sounds like it was quite a storm. I'm glad you're OK.

Hi Oma,

I'm glad it wasn't worse, but that inch of rain sounds pretty good. That system was headed our way too, but it rained out just before it got here. We had no winds, hail, lightening, etc., but we also only received about a tenth of an inch of rain. It's really gettin' dry, here.

Love,
Tex

That's a lot of rain for OK.

Ordinarily, I'd try to work a deal on the rain, but the corn crop is so parched already, that holy water wouldn't help it, at this point. I hear you about the tornadoes, hail, and lightening. Thanks, but I think I'll just pass, for now. LOL.
