Home from hospital

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the birthday wishes! It's been a rough week. I started having right flank pain on Friday evening and by Tuesday I was in the doctor's office and having tests. I was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning with Kidney Stones. Was released yesterday morning and am home medicating myself with all the goodies that they sent home with me.

Going to lay down now - it's been a very unusual birthday! It's just me and Sadie Mae relaxing at home. Larry took Tuesday and Wednesday off to stay with me but he's back at work tonight. Hoping to be able to go with friends tomorrow night for my birthday celebration dinner. LOL

Thanks everyone,
Mars

Well bless your heart, that certainly wasn't the preferred way to spend your birthday, but at least you didn't have to spend it in the hospital. I hope the treatment works quickly, so that you can still enjoy some delayed birthday festivities before the week is past.

Sorry that you had such a rotten experience, especially on your birthday. Are they going to do anything about the stones. My mother had them & they 'blasted' them with a laser or something similar. Better than surgery I reckon.

Love
