I am going to try to find the email address for SpeedyQ and post it.

We all need to write to the powers that be about Jodi's situation and that we will not be buying gas or anything else from them.

It's called Speedy-Q and I almost made a Big D in there station. It's just very imbarrassing when a clerk acts like your going to heist there back room. Some people do have other medical conditions that a restroom is neccessary for use.

I'm getting more knowledgeable and when I do have to go long distances I wear protection. There's just so many things I'm learning to change and deal with so that I get more of my confidence and self-esteem back. Depression is a real downer!

Hello Oma:

I met Joan this morning, we're both newbies and I was telling her that on my way home from a dr's apt. last week I got one of those sudden death pains so my husband stopped at a Speedy-Q gas station so I could go potty. Well...............the clerk informed me they had NO PUBLIC restroom. I politely asked her if she would please make an exception as I have a medical condition and really needed to use a restroom. Her reply was;"We make NO EXCEPTIONS! Sorry!" She was quite rude. Needless to say I messed myself before we even got out of town and about 1500 ft. from the station. I was quite embarrassed and felt very humiliated by the incident. So Joan was trying to help me out by boycotting any Speedy-Q stations and letting them know what they did to me.

Hope this explains why Joan wants to raise a "stink". She means it in a very loving way.

Once when visiting my son ,in AZ., I started to say *oh noooo* --me and L. were in a mall and I knew I would never make it to the *throne* so I walked into this business office and requested the use of the bathroom--at first she said *sorry. we cant do that* but when I desperatly told her of what was about to happen --she kindly said *right there*--and U better believe that I thanked her --and she smiled--

it is such an awful feeling---when desperation freezes your body in a twisted position--in order to keep everything sucked *UP* as long as U can

Speedy probably wouldnt care weather U ever came again--

Thank You for sharing your story with me. I DO understand what you discribed and as I was waddling out of Speedy-Q trying to squeeze my butt checks together to hold everything in I knew I was in BIG trouble!

I belong to a Red Hat Chapter called; Thumb Gals Have All The Fun. Well m/f (my friend) I can tell you I haven't been much fun and have had to miss many outings and house meetings because of my illness. There are about 3 in my group who at least try to be supportive and the others seem to think I'm being "stuck up" or a "hypercondriact" which neither is true. As you know, we have good days and we have bad ones and right now I've only been on the Entocort for about 7 weeks and had a set back when I tried to go down to 6mgs which now I'm just leveling off again.

Thank You so much for caring and I've been reading some of your post about Kait, I've added her to my prayer list, hope you don't mind. I think maybe we need to have a "ass kicken party" :party:

and only invite Kait's doctor.

Kait and Lynn are in Utah for this convention----but she and Kait will be landing in Newark---tonight around 11pm---then limoed here to my house (which will be around 1a.m.)and then Lynn Xpects to jump into her car and drive another hour to her *home*???

I would imagine that they will sleep over again but knowing Lynn she will *shelp* home Xhausted----hopfully not falling asleep @ the wheel either!!

It's so hard sometimes being a Mom and G'Ma and know that there's nothing we can actually do and get away with it. None of us really relish the idea of being handcuffed and locked up for assualt and battery but it sure would feel good to punch some of these dr's who don't seem to use the God given talents that were bestowed upon them. Arghhhhhhh!!!!! It's like beating a dead horse to wake them up. beat_deadhorse:

If you ever need to vent Sweety, just give a yell!
