Camping is going well and we just got back home today, but will be going back to the campground again tomorrow night.
We went to Michigan to visit my sister last Thursday & checked out a big travel trailer dealership up there.
Sooooooo, we got a really good trade in value for our Salem and will have a 2008 Dutchmen Danali travel trailer delivered to our site on Wednesday!!!!!
I'm so excited!!!!
Will probably stay down there until the first of next week.

Love

How exciting getting a new camp trailer! Mike is trying to get our barn done so we are still in the travel trailer. He hasn't got anyone to help right now. But we will get it done.
If you are like me when we bought ours new I went out out looking for neat little things to put in it. But they only hold so uch don't they? I hope you have a lot of fun. And congrats on the new home on wheels.

Wow. Nice trailer. You guys live in luxury!

We got a new tent for camping this summer. I ordered it on the internet and when it came we set it up and it is very cute and roomy but then my husband was reading the booklet that came with it and it said, "Not for use in heavy rain." It said it was good for use in sunshine and light rain. Did you ever hear anything so dumb? :???: :???: :???:

Well! That's the pits about your tent, Kathy!!
Why would they make a tent that you couldn't use if it was raining!
Did they explain that in the specs when you ordered it???
Honestly, we don't live in luxury!!
We started out years ago in a tent, then went to a pop up, then was fortunate to have been given Jack's parents RV, but with gas prices and I dislike being so closed in, we traded the RV in for a 32', 2004 Salem travel trailer. That was almost an even trade. Being so the Salem was only 4 years old, is why we got such a good trade in on it for the Dutchmen, and I kept it emmaculate.
