Post by Mars »

get sick and look what happens to the board!!!! LOL

A great big welcome to Wayne, Jodi and Joan!

Wayne, your groundhogs can stay with you thank you very much! Ohio has their fair share - in fact, I'll send you some of ours!

Joan - I'm glad you have found a place to come where you feel comfortable! It's great to have you aboard!

Jodi - I enjoy your posts so much - it is a true pleasure to read them - It's obvious that the "caregiver" hat is truly deserved and worn well!

Barbara - thanks for the birthday wishes, card and phone call! You're the best! I'm smiling for Kait - I'm so glad she has something that has awakened the "wonders of life" in her again! You'll do great giving her the listening ear while she smiles and tells you about her new "love".

Shirley - thanks for the e-card! Made me smile on a otherwise rough day!

Dee - hope the rain holds off for your camping! It's gonna rain here! I hope this weekend is for relaxing - it seems the last time you went you worked yourself to death!

Becky, glad you are coming along and feeling better! I'm on vacation next week also. My daughter and the boys will be here from Sunday to Sunday- looking forward to seeing them!

Calamity - sounds like things are going great at you work! Congrats and keep showing them that you aren't anyone to mess with! LOL You're not called calamity for nothing ya know! hahahahhaha

Tex, Glad you're still working so hard for all of us - you sure need a great big hug!

For those of you I've forgotten to mention - well, just knock it up to being tired, sick and worn out. You might not be mentioned individually (I just remembered the things above because I just read about 50 posts!) but you're all very special to me!

Love ya all!!!!

Mars

Mars,

So can we take that post to mean that you're feeling better? I certainly hope so.

Love,

Thanks for the well-wishing everyone - unfortunately, I am feeling better than I was when they admitted me to the hospital but I am not better. I had a follow-up with the urologist today - I have calcium deposits in my kidneys (nothing to be worried about at this point because we all have a certain degree of them) but a CAT scan can miss or misinterpret a stone versus the calcium. Anyways, to make a long story short - I have NOT passed the stone - still too much discomfort. Waiting another week to see if he wants to do a die contrast (lighting up the kidneys and the tubes to the bladder) to identify that it is indeed a stone versus something more serious. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!! I'm to continue the vicodin since I can at least FUNCTION on them. I have to work hard this week to be able to go on vacation this week!!!

Wayne, I don't really think that Dee would be too happy with us if we shipped ground (hogs) tee hee to her! She is North of me in Ohio but I'm sure she has enough of her own - too funny!

It's also raining cats and dogs here - major storms passing thru! I'll send rain by ground if ya want!

Love to all,
Mars

PS - forgot to tell you - I go back the eye surgeon in August to begin the process to have my left eye done. Should be done in late October or early November. Ugggggggggggggggg

Figured I better do it while the deductible has been met for the year and hopefully I won't have anything going on for 2009!
