Jodi's Back and feeling better
Hello Everybody:
Have had to work out a few emotional problems over the past few days so have been coping with the Big D and doing my best to get my emotions back in check.
Mr. Wynn from Speedy-Q must have changed his mind about the Porta-Potties because yesterday I had to weigh in at my FP in Reese and guess what? NO PORTA-POTTIES! Imagine that? Mr. Wynn is either being very deceiving or realized that his solution was "asinine".
My weigh-in wasn't what I had hoped because am back down to 96 lbs. I'm a thinking that I should just stay the hell away from "scales" for the time being. They don't like me and I sure don't like them. So we're even!
On Wed. my 4 yr. old grand-daughter; Bailey Elizabeth spent the day with us while Mommy and Daddy were both working.
It was in the high 80's and because of my SLE (systemic lupus) the sun is NOT my friend. Bailey however wanted to go to the playground very badly and I was doing my darndest to postpone going until late after noon.
My husband; David trying to give me moral suport decided to TRY and explain to Bailey why we couldn't go to the playground.
"Bailey, Gramma has a bad sick Lupus. So Gramma can't be in the sun sometimes because it can make her real sick."
This was Bailey's reply:"Gramma has Loompas like Willy Wonka?! Were are they? I want to play with the Loompas!"
Now if that doesn't bring a smile to your face and tears of laughter I don't know what will?
Today is Soc. Sec. day and time to pay bills and go Wal-Marting. So everyone have a great day and a Safe July 4th!
Love and God Bless:
Jodi

Happy 4th of July to you my friend!
I'm doing much better it just seems like sometimes things just become too much to handle and depression sets in and just kicks my behind.
I know better than to let things get to me but sometimes it creeps up and just grabs a person. I don't like when I get up set because it just makes the Big D worse.
I will be leaving here shortly to go do all our monthly running around but will be back early at least by supper time. Promise I'll get on and chat and reply for awhile.
Love Ya!

Jodi,
I'm glad you're feeling better, and I hope the feeling continues.
Maybe Mr. Wynn has to have a board meeting before he can do something as radical as to add a couple of porta-potties.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Angy,
I'm glad to see that you're feeling better, too. You're so upbeat, that reading your posts always perks up my spirits.
That's a neat image. Would you mind if I add that one to the collection of emoticons that are available for us to use here on the board?
