Happy 4th, Jill, and everyone.

I hope you're having 4th of July weather there now, after all that cold weather you've been having.

Love,
Tex

Thanks Tex and Joanna....hope you had fun today! I'm at my sister's beach house for her annual party....I was in charge of the oysters on the BBQ and I made a batch of clam chowder...there were tons of other goodies and BBQ salmon! Yum! It was great. Then, the neighbors down the beach put on quite a fireworks show...they even had a barge hauled-in and you could tell that it was a professional show....pretty amazing. There were tons of fireworks around the harbor....gorgeous....we couldn't have a beach fire...the tide was in, but we fired up the briquettes again for the s'mores,...I am stuffed. Tomorrow some of my sister's guests invited me out to their house on Anderson Island. I can't believe I haven't been to that island before....it's so close to Tacoma....I am very excited! I will report tomorrow.....nite nite.....JJ

Hi Jill,

That sounds like a lot of fun. It's so dry around here that fireworks are pretty risky, so it was a fairly quiet 4th in my neighborhood.

I hope the trip out to the island is as much fun as you anticipate.

Enjoy,
Tex
