Not feeling well again

Post by Mars »

 Here I go again!

Aches, pains, upset stomach and TIRED! No energy at all.

Wonder if I am cleaning out or ate something I shouldn't have.

I'll figure it out - one step at a time!

Ratz, Mars. But you have a good attitude. You will figure it out. My bet is on something you ate (at least based upon my past experiences). Hope it is short-lived. (((((Mars))))).

Love,

Did it start with the chili? Maybe you could start there. Haven't been posting your meals. Maybe you should start again. I seem to be having trouble with my rice cereal but the rice pasta is ok. Go figure. Sending your belly healing light. Love & light, Rita

Actually, it started before the chili. Today I had sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes with green peppers and onions cooked in the skillet (one dish) and a hotdog with chili sauce and onions on it with hash browns for dinner.

Didn't do good today, did I? LOL Once writing it down, it appears I am still not eating right!

For dinner yesterday I ate a salad with carrots, red cabbage and ranch dressing, cottage cheese, tomatoe slices and a steak burger - no bun.

I will begin another journal. I will be good this weekend!

Hi Mars,

You are always good
It's just the diet that's tough to adjust to - it takes time; so don't beat yourself up. I know it's hard when you feel lousy like you do today - but it is just a reminder to take good care of yourself including eating good foods.

Margie, did you eat a hot dog with bun last night? Or was it just the hot dog? Was it a GF hot dog? Did it contain a lot of soy? A lot of meat products especially the processed meats contain small amounts of gluten - it can be in a "hidden" form such as coloring, flavoring, or other chemical form.

I feel badly for you that you are so miserable today. Please, get better fast. I am looking forward to reading your journal.

Love,
Karen

Hi Margie,
You know, most hot dogs have gluten in the casing, if not in the flavoring. Hebrew National is one that is gluten free. They taste pretty good, too.

I was thinking, you could just start a post with the subject "Elvis' Journal", and we could just keep it going forever with comments and suggestions, and nagging, and jokes to cheer you up. Elvis deserves to be as famous as Norman, so that's why I think that's an appropriate title.
Maaaybe I should look for a Mona Lisa for my icon! HHHHmmmm . . . .
This is a big decision. Love, Marsha

P.S. How's the hubby?

Marsah!

I am having a difficult time in the meat department. Many things have gluten in them and I don't read the word because it says something else.

Example - I bought some macaroni that says "Durum Semolina 100%" - nowhere on the box does it say Wheat, etc. I know that pasta has wheat in it - but if I didn't, I would have been in trouble.

Hubby is fine, thanks for asking!

I am soooo glad to see you here. I sent you a personal message. Look in the upper area of the screen and yours should say that you have a message. Try it out!

I am going to post my eatings - somewhere. I need help! (WOW - what a loaded statement!)

Mars,
You will lick this thing yet, I have no doubt. I found the Hebrew National hot dogs while in Florida and just bought them on a whim. I didn't know they were gluten free. I really like them. Lots of flavor. I found them in one store since I got home. Is your husband supportive as far as the diet goes. Mine isn't is why I'm asking.

Yea, Larry is supportive. He eats most of what I cook but won't give up lunch meat sandwiches or any other kind of sandwiches, for that matter!

He actually keeps asking "Are you supposed to be eating that?
