Here are some "snapshots" of random meals that some of us have eaten in the past:

I'll try to locate a few more suggestions, but this should give you a start.

well for sure U cannot survivie on that---

have U checked out Dee's receipes??? she does some great cooking---
and I guess--U can always go to the health foods and purchase stuff there too--what are your issues(I forgot) and do U know what your intolerancers are???

many of the folks here do their own preparing of foods -----eliminating what they are intolerant too

And, of course, if you don't mind cooking, here are enough great recipes to keep you busy for quite a while:

Hi Dee
Appears whenever i eat anything with gluten, I feel a gnawing pain in my gut...I have ocassionally eaten gluten stuff just to test my symptoms but not a lot.

I loved eating salads with everything in them and always ate lettuce (iceberg), but Tex mentioned that l should eradicate lettuce from my diet so my gut can heal. I am also worried about eating raw fruit and veg. I thought it would be fine to eat cooked veg....Also im reading that df should be cut from the diet...I eat tons of df and loads of probiotic drinks to which i feel help my achy tum. :chef:

Angy,

Well cooked vegetables usually work OK, for most of us, especially things like squash, green beans, etc, as long as we don't overdo it, and get too much fiber. Even broccoli works for many of us, but the gas can be a problem. Fruits are a little trickier, due to the fructose, and certain ingredients in some of them can cause D, by themselves. For example, peaches contain sorbitol, which causes D for many of us.

It's certainly possible that you may not be intolerant of casein, (not all of us are). Lactose is often a problem, though, until your small intestine has sufficient time to heal. Fermented products, such as yogurt and kefir, should be lactose free, though, or at least very low-lactose, if properly done. Though not as popular as yogurt, kefir is claimed to have better probiotic properties than yogurt.
