Thank U very much for that info---my GP. thought it be a sinus issue---which he gave me a prescribed sniffer upper to do---and what did it do??? NOTHING--
I will definately suggest this to him---cus I am really getting tired of even eating cus why eat when U dont taste a damn thing--
BUT why taste the CHOCOLATE???
Just when I am staring to RELAX--like DESTRESS myself---Lynn calls and Kait is going to visit *AUSTIN* in California---
She will have a layover in Phoenix for an hour and then has to transfer to another area to get to another plane--the straight thru flight would be at another airport(2 hours) from us--plus Xtra$$$ which I said to Lynn--I will give U the $$$--get her on the straight thru plane---Kait does not need this confusion to add to her frustration!!!!!
She knows how to speak up but directions can be an issue for her-----Lynn will give her index cards to ask peoples to direct her---
PLEASE forgive me---but I cannot deal with this---everytime I look at Kait I want to cry!!!!!!! I love her dearly---but I just cant handle anymore *responsibility*---and the worry of her getting safely there!!!
And then it will be the same when she arrives back to NY---which Louie will have to be @ the airport to pick her up~~~~
Right now I want to *scream* and run away!!!!!
Thank U Galahad--
luve Columbo---sinking back again into the depths of depression!!!!!

the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control
Mrs. Columbo,
I have no idea why you were able to taste the chocolate. Maybe you had been eating food with a higher thiamine content, just before that happened.
The issues with "mood" may also be related to thiamine. Consider this:
B vitamins have powerful effects on the brain. Research shows that correcting a deficiency of the B vitamin folate, can relieve depression. A recent British study of 129 young people in good health, showed that those taking 10 times the normal recommended daily dose of nine vitamins, for a year, reported feeling "more agreeable." Especially effective was thiamine, (B1), riboflavin, (B2), and B6. In women who were deficient in thiamine, mood improved after three months. 20 percent of those in the study had marginal thiamine levels. But thiamine boosted mood, even in women who were not deficient in thiamine. Foods high in B vitamins include dried beans, whole grains, fish, dairy products, poultry, eggs, bananas, and avocados.
I realize it causes a lot of anxiety for you to think of Kait having to deal with issues like that, while she's thousands of miles from home, but she has to learn how to deal with the "outside" world, if she is ever going to gain any independence, and boost her self-reliance. She'll be OK. Lynn wouldn't let her go, if she didn't think so. Remember - Lynn had two of the best parents in the world, who raised her right. Right?
Luve,
Galahad

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
