Joan!
While at Trader Joe's in Cleveland, there also is a Wild Oats (Whole Foods) before you get to Trader Joe's on the same side of the street, maybe 3-5 minute , that is stocked with GF products. At Trader Joe's they have their own brand of pancake & waffle mix, brownies, and brown rice spaghetti & macaroni. I prefer the Tinky'ada brand brown rice pastas, as they hold up much better than the corn or potato ones. Taste alot better too. Just like eating normal pasta. The only trick after boiling them is to rinse the pasta for a good 30-45 seconds in the strainer, then to take off the excess moisture, put the pasta back in the pot that you boiled it in and turn you stove to medium, and keep tossing the pasta until the excess moisture is absorbed.
Meatballs???? You can buy GF/DF bread crumbs for meatballs at Whole Foods or make you own by toasting the GF bread that you use and then chop the toasted bread into cubes.

All y'all I appreciate the great suggestions. I'm glad to have the benefit of your experience so I don't drag home any bad stuff.
Dee, I was at that TJ's once before I knew about my gluten allergy. I didn't know about the other store and it sounds nearer to my Mom's apartment on Van Aken near Lee. I'm sure I'll go to both stores.
