My Last Day "Off"

Post by kate_ce1995 »

Well, its almost the weekend and then I am going back to work on Tuesday...so I really still have 3 days off after today, but, whatever. I actually felt pretty good yesterday. Mowed a good portion of the lawn (on the riding mower), did some sewing, washed some dishes (gosh, Geoff and I need a dishwasher). I guess I'll survive. I'm still somewhat tired, and still sleeping a lot of hours at night (10-11) so I'm a little worried about how I'll feel when I go back to work and have to get up at 6:30. But I only have to make 4 days, then we are on vacation for a few so my next week will only be a 3 day week. John (my boss) was fine with me still taking vacation too.

Sounds like you are coming along pretty well, Katy, and I hope the new schedule doesn't set you back. I'm so glad you were able to stay home and get better for a while. Sounds like you have a pretty compasionate boss.

Hi Katy. Enjoy your time off and just take things one day at a time. Have you had the awful heat in Vermont that we've had here in NY the past week? Yuk! There's colder air coming tonight and I'm looking forward to a good rest with the windows open and no AC for a change. Happy 4th!

Love,
Carrie

Glad you're feeling better Katy! Just in time to enjoy the 4th! Any plans?

I am very relieved to hear that you are feeling better. And even more relieved to hear that you will be going on vacation after three days of work. Maybe you should go back half days? It sounds like your boss has been a champ.

Lots of love,

Sally
