Emily did not do well with the hummus. Very crampy and heart burn. Could be the chick peas or the lemon. Probably both.

I can't remember if Emily has problems with soy or not. This is a website that lists chickpeas as something that many soy intolerent people cross-react with. If not applicable, well you know, nevermind . . .

Hi Roni,
Just chipping in to say that I have had some trouble with chick peas too. I have a bag of them in my pantry but they will have to wait until I feel like experimenting again; I gave them plenty of chances before I finally decided to do what a lot of people here advices, namely not to eat legumes. You are right it could be the lemon too - some people are citrus intolerant.
