Checking-in
Hi....I just wanted to check-in to let people know that I'm alive and well...I am knee deep in packing boxes, yikes! I have a ways to go yet, OK, I have a long ways to go! I would rather sit and look at the lake! I met my next door neighbors last night while I was out watering...one neighbor gave me a basket of herb plants as a welcome gift....rosemary, tarragon, sage, and thyme. I love cooking with herbs, so this was a real treat. I had to leave my herb bushes at my old house....they had become part of the landscaping...haha. My sage, rosemary and lovage, had become actual schrubs! Anyway, I am a happy camper...I love my new place, and also the little town, and neighbors!

Sounds wonderful. Nice neighbor. Happy new home.
BTW, I wanted my name on the BBS to be JJ but you'd beaten me to it. I did register on the other MC board as JJ but I never looked back after finding PP.
I had a rosemary plant that was getting too big for it's pot so DH transplanted it into the ground. It revived beautifully but I realized that it was too near where the pesticde company sprayed the house every other month. The new one I planted in a pot is sort of sticky......I think I'll toss it and get another one.

Hi Jill,
At least you've got the hardest part done, if you've got everything moved. The neighborhood sounds like a great place to be.
Happy unpacking,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Hi....I still have a load of house plants to pick up from a friend's house in Tacoma...then I will have all my stuff here. I realize that before I do much more, I need to buy a book shelf for my office room. I have too many Art books that I can't part with just yet. I tried to sign-up for garbage service on-line, but I haven't heard from them yet....I have a ton of recycling already....and....garbage! Oh well...I need to calm down and take it a little at a time....TTFN...JJ
