Just some idle chit-chat

Post by Mars »

Good morning to everyone!

It sure has been a long week. Lots of things playing on stress this week, both at home and at work - hoping next week is better!

I've been feeling better lately although the left eye is beginning to bother me more and more. The right eye (the one I had surgery on) is itching me something awful! I wake up with both of them dry as a bone and blood red! Grrrrrrrrr. My doctor appointment is the end of August and we will begin the process of getting me scheduled for surgery on the left one. Unfortunately, I have to schedule around work! More of that further down!

Work is, well..................OMG - it is such a mess right now. I have asked and more or less demanded help since April. I was given help by means of a contractor who originally was to work 3 hours a day Monday thru Friday. That changed after one week to Monday and Tuesday at 3 hours and then 8 on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, I am NOT a happy camper!

We had meetings with the board chair on Friday. Somehow she was made aware of some of the shenanigans that is going on in the office and why things are sooooooooo messed up.  They have told the director to get me what I need. If my department fails, the doors may just as well close. I don't know what is going to happen but it better happen PDQ!!!!!!

Today I'll spend cleaning the house, washing clothes and working on some financials for the office. I guess I have to continue to do what I'm doing until the calvary arrives! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ok, I've bent everyone's ear for a few this morning! Guess I better get busy around the house! Have some repairs that will get done by a contractor and they will be here soon.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day; that those that are under the weather are touched by warm sunshine and those that need our prayers feel our heartfelt love and concern across the miles!

My love to everyone!

they have rides--and lottsa fun things for the kiddies---and they raffle off 15 hugh prizes--of course thats if U buy the raffle ticket for$100.00--ut if U win a car---cruise and etc. tis worth it--yet when U think of MEGGA OTIS men and not from just the local areas --slim chance-

2 years in a row the PRESIDENT of OTIS won~~~ now wouldnt that make U *wonder*

anyway--I Xpect L to be home early cus rain is on the way---

Sorry that your eyes are still bothersome---isnt there any DROPS that U can use???

Feel better and hope the other eye co-operates better in healing--

Hi Mars,

And the beat goes on, doesn't it. Sorry to hear that the problems keep on keeping on, but I'm glad that you're feeling better, and making progress, 'cause when we're feeling better, it's a lot easier to face impossible odds. LOL.

Funny that you should mention warm sunshine for those under the weather. I rarely catch a cold, but for some reason or other, I've got a pretty dang good one going on right now. I should be okay, though, because the high for today is supposed to be 102.

I hope your weekend goes smoothly.

Love,
Tex

Barbara,

The president? Two years in a row? That's the damnedest thing I've ever heard.  It probably was just a coincidence, but the odds against that happening are astronomical.

Enjoy the rain. I can remember when it used to rain around here - those were the good old days. LOL.
