It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
How cute....but those are not my kind of cattle...the Irish Dexter is just the smallest size of full size cattle, so they are actually thought of as "big" by the mini cattle people. A full sized Dexter bull can get up to 1000 lbs ( my last one was 1200 lbs, before his freezer field trip ), but his son, my new herd bull is only about 42 inches at the shoulder and about 850 lbs...small enough to be easy to handle, but not a mini by any means...
They are breeding something called a " Old World Jersey" again that is really cool, a pint size Jersey cow for small homesteads, they used to have them many years ago here in the states, but went with that bigger is better idea which is what got us all these HUGE jersey's now. Wish I could snag a breeding pair of those, but don't see it happened...even more expensive than my Dexters...
