Larabars

Post by Becky »

Hey everybody,
I went to a spa this weekend (a gift from my last year's kindergarten class). In the "relaxation room" was a basket of goodies. I was skeptical figuring there wouldn't be anything for me. Then, I read the ingredients for the "Larabars" - glutten free! I tried the cherry pie variety and it tasted great. (fruit, nut, spices) I googled it and saw these posts about free samples. I emailed the company and they emailed me back and are going to send me some. You might want to e-mail them yourselves. The spa said they were at Costco, sure enough I saw them there last night. I'm not sure how I'm going to tolerate the condensed dried fruit. The transit time was quick for me but I'm a little off kilter right now. Next to the Larabars were gf "Bora bora" bars which I bought and really liked and they didn't flush me out. They'll be a quick and easy breakfast option for me as I head out the door to school. Just thought I'd pass along a suggestion.

I'm glad to know that Larabars are available at Costco. We'll have to look for them there. I've only eaten one.......I'll check on getting the free samples.

Hi Becky,
I love the Lara bars, I usually eat 1/2 of one before running.....I will say, some of the flavors sit better than others.

The apple pie & peanut butter are my favorites. The chocolate coconut ones taste good, but give me horrific heartburn during any physical activity.

It's so nice to have some tasty convenient GF options! Trader Joe's is where I find mine, around $1.29 each.

Becky---I had some of those Larabars too---and I have no allergies to worry about---I wanted to see what a gluten free item tasted like and I found to be great----to ADD---thats when I had my taste buds working---

I still buy them---why??? I think its due to the *texture* of what I am *tasting*---if that makes sense--

Hoping that my taste and smell buds will bloom again!!!!!
