A few words to new friends about my posts

Post by barbaranoela »

Yes----U might sound I am awful when I post about my grandaughter Kait--
She has been thu alot --since --well actually being born--brain tumor--non-malignant--and then all that followed up to this point of the wonderful age of being 21--yet not enjoying the fullness of life to this age --

We have learned alot --in the past few months--as to the fact that we have enabled her to continue to be rude cus we felt she really didint mean it but by golly OUR eyes were opened thru a chat my daughter Lynn had with another mom whose son has problems too--when they are wrong---U let them hear it--and so on!!!! so time to say---cut out the crap----

Just a brief note so as U dont think badly of me for my honesty!!! I hope U all understand--

Thanks much-
Barbara

Barbara,

IMO - it is time to teach Kait the courtesy and manners that the world "should" revolve around. No matter what your issues in life, honey gathers more flies than vinegar, as grammy used to say.

While I understand that Kait probably hates the world and the continual injustice that has been dealt to her, curtesy, manners and respect are things that we need to be practice on a daily basis!! Since she has been allowed to "get away with" her behavior for so long, maybe a good old fashioned tongue thrashing would help..................well, maybe not. But...........it wouldn't hurt to start the teaching all over again and let her know that her behavior is uncalled for, inappropriate and embarrassing for those around her. Her attitude will make things difficult for her to find long, lasting relationships including new ones and those with her family!

Hang in there - it can get better - until then - know you can only do your best and until then :whatever: my friend!

I love ya,
Mars
