It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
It's so encouraging to see mainstream groceries and events including gluten-free foods in their selections. I don't think that it's due to more awareness of celiac disease, however. I think it's due to so many people attributing other problems, such as autism, ADHD, chronic fatigue, multiple sclerosis, etc. to gluten. Whatever the reason, we are the beneficiaries.
