Pound cake recipe

THIS POUND CAKE IS AMAZING!!

LEMON DRIZZLE CAKE (POUND CAKE Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees


1 cup butter (2 sticks)

1 cup sugar

1 ½ cups brown rice flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

4 eggs

1 lemon – grated rind and juice

cream softened butter and sugar

add egg and lemon juice, rind

mix well

add dry ingredients

Mix well

Grease and flour 2 lb loaf pan (use parchment paper if you have it)

Bake for 30-35 (min. ours took 48 min so maybe 40-50 minutes.

Should be golden brown and firm to the touch

Let cool completely, then slice


DRIZZLE

Juice 1-2 lemon plus rind

½ cup sugar

mix together

poke holes all over cake and pour drizzle over it!!

It sounds devine but only two sticks of butter too many for my NO casein part of the equation! :sad:
