GF Products where I live

Post by Tessa »

I just wanted to show you a special place where we buy GF products close to where I am living. It shows pictures, prices (in Euros), etc.
The store is a little expensive, as we have found a place with much more products such as: Sausage, salami, cooked ham, highland ham, mortadella... (GF) and with better prices, but I thought this would give you an idea of what we have here...

Have a look to their website... If you cannot open it, just tell me and I will tell you another way to get into their website. (Click on a name of a product, it will give you a description (in spanish) and its Price...

Hi Tessa,

Could not read most of it since I am by no means a linguist - my sister was when she was alive. She spoke and wrote 7 languages and also taught them. That's another story.

I can tell you that the Schar products are wonderful - especially their breadsticks. On GF you sometimes have to just disregard the price and go with what you like. Treat yourself.

Love, Maggie

Yes they are... I have already tasted Schär products

(I just feel GF bread has a strange different taste to gluten bread)

Tessa.

I agree with you, Tessa. GF bread is a long way from what I've been used to, but I haven't had the Manna from Anna bread mix yet.

Bob's Red Mill has one that isn't too bad though. I can find that around here sometimes. It's called Homemade Wonderful GF Bread Mix. It's not really wonderful but it's OK.

One pkg makes 2 small loaves (better than trying to make 1 large one) and it's quite pricy for us also. I think if I ever find one that tastes "normal" it will be a mix and not ready to eat. I gave up on ready to eat GF bread.

Good Luck and I hope you find lots of different foods you like.

Tessa,

You have some nice selections there! I saw the Margherita mix and thought it was to make tequila drinks (margharitas) with, but the picture looked like a slice of cake! HAHAHAHA. Thanks for sharing.
Love,

Polly

Oh Wow, what a selection of Gf products - mouth watering pictures. I especially thought the one called Fantasia Tarta looked good LOL!! Of course I will have to guess what it means since my Spanish is non-existing :???:
I have a pretty good idea what it means and I can imagine the taste; however, it will have to remain a fantasy for me because of all the other things I cannot tolerate.

Indulge, Tessa

Karen

Fantasía tarta: I think it is a sweet fantasy tart.

Nice to share it with you... I have bought some biscuits today and toasted bread... I liked it.
