Son Made it thru Ike!

Post by annie oakley »

Howdy family, well my son that lives in Houston called this afternoon to say they made it thru fine. They were Lucky. They boarded up the house had pleanty of water and food for them and the two kids. He was calling from a cell phone, of course the power is out and may be for a while. He said that the kids slept thru it all. They ended up with One small leak in the kitchen.
I hope others had good luck.
Our cousins live in Kema and I heard Kema Tx Is under water, One cousin lives close to water. We haven't reached them as yet.
It appears we aren't going to get bad weather. Looks to me like we are going to have an early winter.
Well I better go for now Just wanted you to know that the weather didn't get us this time. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance

Am glad to hear your son and his family weathered through IKE without too much damage.
I know how scared you must have been just like I was with having family so close to the eye of the storm.
I will keep those you have not yet heard from in my prayers.
Love and God Bless:
Jodi
