Tex, Glad you made it through the storm in one piece and that you're feeling better. Could you have picked up some Salmonella? There still seems to be a problem with it in this country.

I hope others who went through the Ike storm are o.k. as well.

Hotrod,

I used to suspect Salmonella every time I got sick, when I first started having reactions to gluten. Finally, as the episodes became more and more frequent, I decided that it had to be something else, especially when one day the D started, and after a couple of weeks, was still going strong.

This time, though, I only had one episode of D, and that was 3 days ago - I haven't had a BM since, so I don't think it is/was Salmonela. If something doesn't happen pretty soon in the BM category, though, I'm going to start thinking it might have been an MC reaction, or at least, it might have ended up as one.

Regarding Ike, other than a huge amount of property damage, mostly along the coast, I believe that everyone came out pretty well. It certainly could have been much worse.
