Wow! That's great news. Things are falling into place, aren't they.
I love your attitude about the port-a-potties. Of course, they do offer a certain degree of "security", but as out of shape as I am, (I never was a runner - anything past a hundred yards meets my definition of a marathon, LOL), if I were in an "ultra-urgent" situation, I would have to have a fast car, an open road, and no traffic to slow me down, in order to get to the next one in time.

Thanks. With all the caring, get well wishes I've received, I'm sure going to do my best to get rid of this stuff as soon as I can. The chills/fever seem to be fading away now, so maybe I've seen the worst of it.

Thanks - I do seem to be better today. It's been many years since I've had something like this, (outside of the MC reactions), and I don't even know where I caught it, so either it must be a pretty infectious virus, or it just happened to catch me in a vulnerable situation.

Your West Nile Fever sounds similar to our Ross River Fever or Barmah Forrest Fever which is carried by mossies. I had Ross River about 20 years ago & it still lurks from time to time. You don't really have to be around a lot of people for someone to pass on the Flu to you. You just have to touch something like a door nob or handrail that they have left their germs on. In any case it is in the air.

Now that you mention WNF again, if this is the flu, it's the only time I've ever been this sick without more D. I think I'll call my doc tomorrow, and see if there's a simple blood test they can give to detect WNF. I'm not sure that information will ever do me any good, but I'm kind of curious, now.
The storm passed by with very little effect on the immediate area where I live. I don't believe the wind ever exceeded about 60 km/h, and we only received about half a millimeter of rain. <sigh> For all practical purposes, if it weren't for the internet and TV, we probably wouldn't have even noticed it around here.

I've noticed as I get a little older, that when I get hit with something, it really seems to knock me for a loop.
I sure hope our flu season isn't a doozy!!

I'm feeling pretty decent today, and yesterday wasn't too bad. Probably by tomorrow, I'll be as good as new, (or as bad as new, depending on your viewpoint. LOL). I believe the vitamin D is a good idea. I plan to start taking it again, before winter arrives.
