I Have An UTI

Post by jodibelle352 »

Hi all:

Busy, busy day today but will tell all.

Got a call from my GP before I left for Saginaw. Was told that urine sample did come back positive for a UTI. Was asked to stop by his office on my way to Saginaw and get sample antibiotics of a stronger dosage. Now I have to take 750mgs of Leviquin daily for the next 4 days then 500mgs daily for 2 days. I am also supose to go back in 2 weeks for another urine sample with the lab.

Have been drinking lots and lots of water and cranberry juice but noticed that my urine still has blood in it but it's no longer that real ugly RUST color from yesterday.

Dee you're right about the name of the scope Doc mentioned but hoping that since my urine tested positive for UTI that I won't have to have that procedure anytime soon. Phewwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!

Had my bone density done today and also saw Dr.Diola my Lupus specialist and all my labs are in normal range with the T cells and I am still in remission. :cheerleader:

All in all except for having a very busy day and being tired I'm not as upset as I was yesterday. The thought of kidney stones again made me want to hide in a hole and never come out.

I have posted some new items on Horsengoggle.com if you would like to see some of my latest creations. They are not doll clothes but some Thread Crochet Angels, Teddy Bear Ornaments and some Old Fashioned Hot Pads from crochet thread not yarn.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sold my very first item on Horsengoggle!!!!!!!!!!!!! :knitting: A lady from Washington bought the Halloween Costumes I made. I got home today and I had an e-mail informing me that my item #2344 had been SOLD!

There's no way my day could be any better than this! :band:

Take Care Because I Care!

I hope your UTI goes away VERY quickly. Thank heavens it wasn't anything worse. Not that a UTI isn't bad enough.

Congrats on your first sale. I hope you will have much success especially as Christmas rolls around. You have a lot of talent.

Thank You Joan:

How are you feeling today? Are you getting any better? It seems to me it's about time that all of us start having a GOOD day instead of all these ups and downs.

My lower back and abdomin is tender but I'm not having any fall on the floor pain. Just tenderness and I'm hoping the antibiotics help get this under control real quick.

If you get a chance check out my angels if you still have the site.

It sure seems good having Angy back home safe and sound and posting again. Has there been any word on Tex and how he's been feeling the past couple days?

Between Dr's apts. and bathroom trips the past 36 hours I haven't had the chance to find out how he's doing.

Love and God Bless:

Jodi,

I'm feeling fine, again. I hope you soon will be, too.

Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
